How to Trim the Wick

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your candle, it's important to trim the wick before each use. We recommend trimming the wick to approximately 1/4 inch in length using a wick trimmer or scissors. This helps prevent excessive smoking, soot, and uneven burning, resulting in a cleaner, more efficient burn.

Proper Burning Technique

For the best burning experience, allow your candle to create a full melt pool (liquefied wax covering the entire surface) during the first burn. This typically takes about 1-3 hours. Avoid extinguishing the candle until the wax has melted to the edges of the container to prevent tunneling. Additionally, limit each burn session to no more than 4 hours to avoid overheating and maintain safety.

Did You Know That Your Candle Has a Memory?

Yes, you read that right! Your candle has a 'memory' of its first burn. To ensure even burning throughout its life, it's essential to allow the candle to achieve a full melt pool during the initial use. We recommend burning your candle for a minimum of 60 minutes during the first use to establish this memory. If the candle is not allowed to melt to the edge of the container during the first burn, it may tunnel in subsequent uses, resulting in wasted wax and reduced burn time. Practice patience and let your candle establish its memory for optimal performance
